Medieval Europe

This tour can be completely tailored to the area of Europe you choose.    

For example, if the tour takes in England, we will visit Chester, York, a medieval ‘living history’  visit many villages in the Costwolds and in Kent – the Cinque Ports.  We will include the major sites in London, of course, and engage your interest in the medieval period by bringing it to life with a specialist guide.  Germany is another wonderful country for unspoiled medieval villages.  In all countries guests will understand the life of a medieval serf and the aristocracy, the wars and crusades that occurred at that time and will visit some of the Motte and Bailey castles to understand why they are structured in that way.  This tour is designed to show the huge differences in the ways of living that existed at that time in history.
